The Jackson County School System held its third annual Teacher and Support Person of the Year Banquet Thursday night at the Braselton Civic Center. During the banquet, all school-level winners were recognized, while the system also announced its Teacher of the Year, Support Person of the Year and Bus Driver of the Year.
East Jackson High School's Ms. Katy Stone was named the system's Teacher of the Year, while East Jackson Elementary School's Ms. Lindsey Erwin was named the system's Support Person of the Year. Mr. Phillip Earnest was named the system's Bus Driver of the Year.
