Three students from the Jackson County School System were selected to participate in the upcoming All-State Band weekend on Feb. 27 through March 1 in Athens. A fourth student was named an alternate.
The students underwent multiple rounds of rigorous auditions to qualify for the honor of being selected to the prestigious weekend. Jackson County High School's Anthony D'Arienzo and McKenzie Hagerty along with East Jackson High School's Courtney Cameron were selected. JCHS' Brady Sun was named an alternate.
