Principal's Message, October 8, 2025
Chorus Chick-Fil-A Chicken Biscuits
EJHS Chorus will be selling yummy Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits this Friday morning, October 17th, from 7:00-7:55 am in the front atrium and in front of the school.
$5.00 per biscuit. Please bring exact change and buy a biscuit or two.
Proceeds go to support chorus students as they raise funds for their 2026 Italy Performance Tour and Competition.
Thank you for supporting our kids. Go Eagles!

Spanish Club Meeting
The Spanish Club will meet on Wednesday, October 22nd immediately after school in Señora Kirk's classroom.

Lady Eagles Basketball Tryouts
Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held on October 20th and 22nd from 3:30-5:00pm in the main gym. You must have a physical on file to tryout.

JCSS Student of the Week-One of our Own!
Congratulations to Kaleb Nunley, who was recently selected as our school district's student of the week!

7 Mindsets Heroes
Congratulations to this months EJHS 7 Mindsets Heroes: Mr. Caleb Malone and Marlee McCullough. They were selected for their "Passion First" mindset.

Chorus Chicken Que Fundraiser
Help our chorus students travel for their 2026 performance tour in Italy! Buy your chicken que plate tickets for $20 per plate from any chorus student or contact Dr. Chandler.

New EJHS Wall of Honor
EJHS Wall of Honor – Help Us Recognize Our Heroes!
East Jackson High School is creating a Wall of Honor to recognize EJHS ALUMNI AND CURRENT FACULTY/STAFF who have served in the U.S. military. This tribute will be a permanent scrolling slideshow displayed on a TV screen outside the cafeteria.
We know our military members are humble, so anyone - friends, family, teachers, or fellow Eagles - can submit a name.

- Breakfast costs $1.45 in the elementary schools and $1.55 in the middle and high schools.
- Lunch costs $2.10 in the elementary schools and $2.60 in the middle and high schools.

Required Vaccine
Students who are 16 years old or will be 16 over the summer and in the 11th grade MUST HAVE the MVC4/Meningitis booster vaccine. Please make sure your student has their vaccine if they are eligible.
