8th Grade Visits Empower

Our 8th grade students recently had the opportunity to visit the Empower College and Career Center to learn more about the CTAE pathways. We are thankful to Empower for welcoming us and sharing about their classes. This trip provided great information as we get ready to register for classes for next school year.

Hispanic Heritage Month

To commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, eighth grade students organized and led a showcase of various Hispanic cultures using music, dance and poetry. The event provided an excellent time for reflection and appreciation to recognize the significant contributions Hispanic Americans have made to our country.

Middle School Soccer Conditioning

8th Grade Boys and Girls Soccer Players:

Middle school soccer conditioning starts on Tuesday, October 22nd. Girls will train at EJMS, and boys will train at the EJHS practice field. All 8th grade boys and girls soccer players need to see Coach Davis in room 305 to get more information about tryouts and sign-ups.

Spanish Club Meeting

The Spanish Club will meet Wednesday, October 23rd in Señora Kirk´s Class immediately after school. We will celebrate El Día de los Muertos.

FFA Meeting

FFA will have its October meeting on Tuesday, October 29th at 3:30 in the Ag barn at Empower. Come in your Halloween costume and enjoy a pumpkin carving competition and an apple bar. We would love to see you all there!

Beta Club Meeting

Beta will have its October meeting on Monday, October 21st at 3:15 in the media center. This will be our annual trick-or-treat meeting! Members can wear a costume for an extra Eagle Hour! The team with the most costumes will win a prize! We look forward to seeing all of our members there! Don't forget, if you have a conflict and can't attend, you need to fill out the Google form to sign up for the virtual make up meeting.

Students and Teachers, please make sure to check your parent square messages for a form to nominate a Beta Member of the Month. Nominees should demonstrate our pillars of CHARACTER, LEADERSHIP, ACHIEVEMENT, or SERVICE. We will recognize this member at our meeting.
