Dual Enrollment (DE)
Dual Enrollment allows eligible high school students to earn free college credit.
Dual Enrollment (DE) can give upperclassmen the option to gain college credit that can count toward high school requirements.
Eligible juniors and seniors can take academic or professional certification courses with tuition and textbook costs covered for qualifying students. East Jackson High School works with local colleges in the area, to include: Lanier Technical College, Athens Technical College, the University of North Georgia, and the University of Georgia.
Students must meet the college admissions requirements, have a GaFutures account, and work with the dual enrollment coordinator to discuss course options and to complete the proper application forms.
- Current 10th & 11th Grade Students interested in doing dual enrollment for next year should complete the 25-26 Dual Enrollment Interest Form.

Qualifying Students

You must be approved through The College Board. Ms. Bragg must know about the accommodations prior to the ordering deadline for your exam. See Ms. Bragg if you have questions, or need help with the documentation and approval.
AP Summer Work Supplemental Assignments
All students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses are expected to participate in supplemental work prior to the beginning of their AP course. The goal of supplemental assignments is to build your prior knowledge and provide a preview of the first unit of study for each advanced course. We believe this will better prepare you for academic growth and the overall success of our advanced coursework programs. Assignments are not meant to be punitive, but to prepare students for the rigor of advanced coursework.
Students enrolled in 1st Semester AP courses will complete supplemental assignments before returning to school in August. Students enrolled in 2nd Semester AP courses will complete supplemental assignments before courses begin in January.
For each course in which you are enrolled, click on the hyperlink to find your assignments. Students only need to complete the assignments for the classes in which they are enrolled. Please reach out to your AP teacher with any specific questions.
